Welcome
Why I Love Working with Couples
There are many reasons why we love it, including the following:

Watching couples grow and improve together is inspiring.
When couples come to therapy, they are often struggling with communication, trust, and other issues. As a therapist, it's gratifying to see them make progress and strengthen their relationship. I love to see couples reignite intimacy and reconnect in a deep way.

Couples therapy allows us to make a big impact.
When a couple is able to improve their relationship, it can have a ripple effect on all areas of their lives. It can improve their overall well-being, their connections with others, and their overall happiness.

We get to be a part of a team.
In couples therapy, we work with both partners to help them achieve their goals. It's a collaborative process, and it's satisfying to be a part of a team that is working towards a common goal. While that can feel challenging at times, it is also exciting to navigate the challenge of bringing people together.

It is active!
It is a part of the intuitive healing process to apply practical and direct ways for couples to turn back toward each other. This is often in the form of what I call “invitations”. It may be simple activities or deeper and more emotional work but it always has the intention to get couples back in connection.

We learn from our couples.
Every couple is unique, and we learn something new from each one we work with. Couples therapy pushes me to grow into a better therapist. In my commitment to supporting the process, I am always seeking fresh perspectives and expertise. This keeps our work interesting and allows us to continually grow and develop as therapists.

We get to see relationships from a different perspective.
As therapists, we get to see how couples interact with each other and how they resolve conflicts. This gives us a unique perspective on relationships that we can then apply to our own lives.
Love is Sacred.
Overall
As a therapist, working with couples can be a challenging but deeply rewarding experience for therapists. It's a chance to help others improve their lives and relationships, and to learn and grow along the way.
Therapy
Couples Therapy
As couples confront life’s events together; birth, death, success, failure, health, illness, support, and betrayal, it becomes harder to discern the boundaries between each other.
